21CF wins 10 BAFTA Awards, including 7 for ‘The Favourite’

On Sunday, 21st Century Fox earned 10 awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), which hosted its annual ceremony in London. FX Networks shared a number of notable announcements and updates at its winter 2019 Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour in Pasadena, California yesterday. FOX NASCAR’s Larry Mac takes on virtual challenge heading into FOX coverage of the Daytona 500

Former NASCAR crew chief Larry McReynolds has been a mainstay on the FOX NASCAR broadcast team since the network’s first race, the 2001 Daytona 500, but never has he had an offseason quite like this one. As the official translator between automotive engineers, race teams and crewmembers and the FOX Sports graphic artists in Charlotte and Los Angeles, “Larry Mac” has been hard at work since last summer creating a virtual cutaway car for the highly anticipated Virtual Studio in Charlotte, N.C. GLAAD Media Awards recognize ‘Love, Simon,’ ‘Deadpool 2,’ and more Fox projects for outstanding LGBTQ representation

Eleven films and television series from across 21st Century Fox businesses have received nominations for the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, which recognize media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues. The nominated projects, which include “Deadpool 2” from Twentieth Century Fox, “Modern Family” from Twentieth Century Fox Television, “Pose” from FX Networks, and more, will compete for the top honors at two ceremonies: one in Los Angeles on March 28, and another in New York City on May 4.

21CF and U.S. State Department host second annual #HiddenNoMore program, helping advance women around the world in STEAM fields

In 2017, 21st Century Fox partnered with the U.S Department of State to launch #HiddenNoMore, an all-female STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) leadership development program inspired by the Fox 2000 film “Hidden Figures.” The initiative marked the first time in history that a Hollywood movie led to the creation of a publicly funded educational exchange program. In 2018, 21CF and the State Department brought a second diverse group of women leaders from 49 countries to the U.S. for the three-week exchange program. #HiddenNoMore has become a flagship initiative of the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), which has recently focused on the advancement of women leaders in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics) fields.
