21st Century Fox received a grand total of 113 Primetime Emmy® Awards nominations from the Television Academy today. The race to the nominations is over, we’re looking forward to big wins at the 69th Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 17. Here’s a breakdown of 21CF’s nominations:
FX: 55 nominations
- “FEUD: Bette and Joan” received 18 nominations, while “Fargo” received 16. Breakout hit “Atlanta” received 6 total nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, and Donald Glover for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. “The Americans,” “Baskets,” “Better Things,” “American Horror Story: Roanoke” and “Taboo” also received nominations.
FOX: 20 nominations
- FOX had 20 nominations, including a first for Gordon Ramsey as host of “MasterChef Junior,” and 5 for its Sunday animation block.
National Geographic: 17 nominations
- Nat Geo had its best year in history with 17 nominations. “Genius” led the pack with 10 Emmy noms.
20th Century Fox Television had its best year in history with 63 nominations, including 36 for Fox 21, and 11 for “This Is Us.” FXP received 32 nominations. FOX Sports rounds out the nominations with six for the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show.
