The French One Panel, aka Grande Affiche, is a standard French movie poster with dimensions running roughly at 47 inches wide and 63 inches tall. These artifacts showcase a broad range of artistic styles and promotional techniques used by studios throughout the years and provides a unique insight into the distribution history of titles in a studio’s collection. The Fox Archives French One Panel collection currently spans over 50 years of 20th Century Fox movie history.
Whether in mint condition or showing signs of wear, the grand and decorative features of the French One Panel always prove an impressive display. Here are just a few examples of some of the French One Panels held in the Fox Archives. (Note: Due to their large size, French One Panels were typically folded right after printing, thereby creating the fold lines in the images below.)

The Fox Archives is mandated to collect, catalog, preserve and make accessible the following assets of the 20th Century Fox studios: props, set decoration, photographs, art department and publicity materials from our film and television productions, and from the 20th Century Fox studio itself. We work primarily with internal Fox groups but also from time to time with outside organizations such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.
