FOX Sports colleagues, talent and partners come together across the U.S. in honor of annual tradition
Last week, FOX Sports celebrated its 25th season as a leader in sports broadcasting with its second annual Founders Day. FOX Sports’ offices across the U.S. took time out of their busy schedules to step away from their desks and celebrate alongside the company of their colleagues, talent and special guests while participating in fun competition, enjoying food trucks and refreshments, and engaging in a variety of other sports-driven activities.
“We talk a lot about the FOX family around here. This is one day out of the year that is the personification of what it means to be in that family, spending a day together with co-workers and enjoying what it means to work here,” said Eric Shanks, FOX Sports President, COO and Executive Producer.

This year, FOX Sports offices in Los Angeles, New York, Charlotte and the Woodlands celebrated Founders Day along with their RSN and Big Ten Network colleagues. Some of the celebrations across the country included:
- A fundraising executive dunk tank, touchdown dance challenge, tug-of-war, 4-point shot contest and Wiffle ball game on the FOX Studios Lot in Los Angeles
- Outdoor carnival games and a photo booth at the FOX Plaza in New York
- A raffle, mini putt-putt challenge, corn hole and NASCAR simulators in Charlotte
- A fundraising dunk tank, sports trivia and mini golf in the Woodlands
- Lunch, a tour of the new Gateway Arch National Park Museum and a riverboat cruise on the Mississippi River for FOX Sports Midwest
- Breakfast bingo, trivia and a scavenger hunt for FOX Sports Arizona
- Batting practice at Target Field for FOX Sports North
- A boat cruise on Lake Michigan for FOX Sports Wisconsin

Some of FOX Sports’ on-air talent also joined the festivities in Los Angeles, including Colin Cowherd, Alex Rodriguez, Stu Holden, Eric Dickerson, Greg Jennings, Jenny Taft, Dean Blandino, Mike Hill, Ice Cube, Caron Butler, Dahntay Jones, Joy Taylor, Matt Leinart, Kristina Pink, Chris Myers, Holly Sonders, Rob Stone, Rachel Bonnetta, Nick Swisher, Frank Thomas, Eric Karros and WWE’s The New Day. Additional guests included Cleatus, USC’s 10-piece marching band, Tommy Trojan, and the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers cheerleaders also joined in the fun.
“I think it’s really cool that talent and partners know how important a day this is and come out and celebrate our birthday with us,” Shanks said.
