Fox Networks Group announced yesterday that the availability of its new FOX NOW streaming experience has expanded to iOS immediately, and later this month on Roku devices and Android as well. The new FOX NOW lets consumers watch live and on-demand programming from FOX, FX Networks and National Geographic for the first time in a single app.

“We are delighted to be expanding FOX NOW to additional platforms and millions more users,” said Fox Networks Digital Consumer Group President and COO Brian Sullivan. “FOX NOW represents a significant increase in our capabilities and focus, and ensures our viewers will always have the best experience possible when watching our award winning television brands. Innovation, for the customer both on screen and in user experience, has always been at the heart of Fox. This new TVE platform sets an important benchmark for the quality, discovery and engagement opportunities of our programming in a streaming environment.”

The new FOX NOW is accessible with a TV provider login. It features up to 500 hours of content across Fox Networks Group brands and an immersive full-screen video experience.

New features include:

  • Restart Live TV, which enables viewers to watch a show from the beginning
  • A personalized “For You” section as well as curated content grouped by network and genres
  • Fox Profile, which offers customized favorites and recommendations, personalized notifications, easy access to next episodes in a series and the ability to continue watching bookmarks

With over 35 million downloads and support for all of the top 10 pay-TV providers in the U.S., FOX NOW is available to 97 percent of pay TV subscribers, representing more than 97 million homes.

FOX NOW will continue to expand to additional platforms, including the desktop experience for web on FOX.com, legacy Apple TV, Xbox gaming consoles, Kindle Fire and Fire TV, later this year.
