21st Century Fox received a grand total of 103 Emmy Awards from the Television Academy today, which means there will be plenty of anticipation here when the winners are announced at the 68th Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 18. Here’s a breakdown of 21CF’s nominations:
FX: 56 nominations
- “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” received 22 nominations, while “Fargo” received 18. “The Americans,” “American Horror Story: Hotel,” “Archer” and “Baskets” also received Emmy nominations.
FOX: 29 nominations
- A total of 11 FOX shows received nominations. “Grease: Live” received 10 nominations, while “Empire,” “Gotham” and “So You Think You Can Dance” each received three.
National Geographic Channel: nine nominations
- The documentary “He Named Me Malala” received five nominations.
Shows from 20th Century Fox Television and Fox 21 Television Studios earned 54 total nominations, making it the No. 2 most nominated television studio and the most nominated studio that produces for broadcast. “Homeland” and “Modern Family,” both produced by the studio, each received four Emmy nominations today.
